Pastor Scott will ride with Pedaling Parsons September 20-25, 2015
Scenic Ride in the Finger Lakes Region of New York
This is a 350 mile road ride on scenic roads. We will ride about 70 miles per day.
To raise $50,000 to build a house for a family through Habitat for Humanity.
We plan to raise the money this year, then in the summer of 2016 we plan 16 “build days” for Pedaling Parsons. Those who help build can become a Pedaling Parson without ever riding a bike.
About The Pedaling Parsons…
The Pedaling Parsons began with a small group of Methodist cyclists in 1987 that had a passion for cycling and mission. They had the idea that instead of just riding for fun and fitness, they could ride to make a difference by raising money for missions. The vision of that founding group resulted in a movement that has pedaled over 19,000 miles, and has raised over $922,000 for various mission projects over the past 28 years.
